Faster speeds come at a price.

We all want faster internet speeds. When Google announced Fiber, with gigabit internet speeds, I could not wait to be able to download movies in a matter of seconds. But with all that speed comes a price.

Currently residents of Valley Glenn, in Dixon California, are having to watch their neighborhood be destroyed. As reported by CBS Sacramento, AT&T is currently working to expand their ultra high speed data in the Dixon area. As a result of all the construction, grounds are being dug up destroying properties.

But this, unfortunately, is the process to build these networks that are able to handle more bandwidth. High speed networks require the construction of infrastructure to make it happen. And though I truly feel for the residents, it is temporary. The most important thing is to make sure areas are properly marked off (for safety). And that the company (AT&T) properly clean everything up.
